Letters to my father has just been submitted to Amazon! They’re going to process it for a few hours, and hopefully it will be available for download at about 7-8 PM EST. At that point I will also make the book available for download as a PDF under published works. Been an exciting month long journey to get to this point, and as I have said many times before, thank you all for being a part of it, just a little bit longer before I get the green light.

Hey all, I made contact with someone who makes book covers, and they sent me a couple. They look way better than anything I can make and I am really excited to have these. Check them out below. I’m trying to decide which to use, and have little visual artistic ability, so please let me know which you like.
Concerning the movie, I’ve exchanged a couple emails with the directer, and work has started on converting the book to the script. Hi all,
As I have repeatedly stated, I am ecstatic with letters to my father. It was an incredible experience to write, and an even more incredible experience to hear from all of you about it. This is the second project I have completed in two months, the first being ‘Unhooked’, and my new goal is to get both of these published. They will be self-published through Amazon, so how this is going to work, is I’ll continue to put out 4-5 short stories a week, and spend the majority of my time editing ‘Unhooked’ and ‘Letters To My Father’. Unhooked is much further along in the process, so probably on about November 22nd, I’ll publish that, and put a post about it here. Letters To My Father will follow on the 29th.
I am hoping to keep access to these two books as unrestricted as possible. They will be free for the first five days, and after that I’ll post a PDF here, with instructions for how to forward that to a kindle account.
In addition to the self-publishing of those two books, I am currently talking to an independent director about turning this into a movie! I’m super excited about this, and can’t wait to see it pan out. Kickstarter should be up in the next couple of weeks, and work should start some time in first couple of months of 2015. I’ll post information as soon as I have it, or you could go bug reddit.com/u/ulyssesarias for more details. I will add he is the only director who is cleared to work on this.
So what about the next project or projects? Well, I already have another project that I’ve been working on that’s in the same spirit as Unhooked and Letters To My Father, but will be full industry length 70K words, instead of the 35K these are. This book I am hoping to publish through traditional routes. I will be working on that concurrently with the other two books, and will start soliciting agents(hopefully), by the end of November.
As for other shorter projects, I fully intend to keep doing more projects like Letters To My Father and Unhooked. I expect I’ll start another one in about a month or two. Unfortunately, I did injure my wrist getting out the last two projects so quickly, so the next project will have to be updated every 48 hours, instead of every 24 hours. For those interested in the full book projects only, just watch for something with part 1 in the title, those will be the book projects.
Alright, I think that’s it then. I’ve gotten some really moving messages from readers, so I’m going to go make sure I reply to all of you lovely people.

Greetings everybody! I can see there are still a lot of people reading unhooked. I’m still working on it, and I thought I’d give you an update. A reader who is an editor in real life has volunteered to edit it. I’m almost finished with my second draft, and I’ll hand it over to him in the next couple of hours. After he has handed it back to me, I’ll do a third draft, and then I’m going to make it available in a couple different packages.
First, I’ll be publishing it to Amazon, so there will be a link where you can download it for free for the first five days it’s up. I’d like to make it free permanently, but as far as I can tell, that’s not an option. I will have the ability to make it free again periodically, which leads to the next option.
Second, once the Amazon version is no longer free, I’ll publish a PDF here, and link some instructions for you to send it to your kindle account, so you can read it that way.
Third, it will be published in its entirety here as well. I’ll open up a new page called published works where I’ll link to the fully edited story and all options for you to obtain it. I’ll edit the current publicly available version to make the reader aware a new version is available.
Fourth, for anyone who really wants a hard copy, if you send me a message with your address I can send a physical copy to you. I don’t anticipate many of these, so I’m not charging for them. If this turns into a popular option you can always make yourself a hard copy with the PDF, or I can look into a way for people to order hard copies on a more permanent basis. I can’t think of anywhere that will do that for free, so there will likely be some cost for this if a large number of people want a hard copy.
I think that about covers it. I will say again I am continually surprised and delighted to see so many people reading unhooked. It has truly humbled me to be a part of this, and I have been reminded at every step of the way, that I am only half responsible for this. Every one of you who has read this had made it your own, and whenever you tell me about your experience that is very clear to me. It’s almost like a new story, and I love hearing about what your experience was like. So thank you for reading, any questions, comments, concerns, or criticisms, let me know.
